What is HArmonyCa®?
HArmonyCa® is an innovative, dual-effect hybrid injectable, that combines hyaluronic acid with calcium hydroxyapatite. The hyaluronic acid provides an immediate lifting effect after the treatment while calcium hydroxyapatite, a biostimulator, works over time by supporting the body’s own collagen production to encourage collagen stimulation and remodel the skin. As a result, the skin will feel firmer and tighter, and you will see gradual, continual improvement in the appearance of your skin over 18 months due to the continued stimulation of new collagen.

How does HArmonyCa® work?
Delivered only by our specialist medical injectors , doctors, dentists and nurse prescribers, HArmonyCa® is injected into the cheeks and jawline using a cannula to fan the product throughout the mid-face. The calcium hydroxyapatite works deep within the dermis to kick-start the growth of fibroblasts that form new collagen fibres in as little as one week after injection, creating a firm collagen framework within the skin long after the hyaluronic acid is broken down. Simultaneously, the hyaluronic acid diffuses between collagen fibres of the lower dermal layer, for an immediate lifting effect.
HArmonyCa® also includes lidocaine, for a more comfortable experience.

Frequently asked questions about HArmonyCa®
One treatment consists of 2 x 1.25ml syringes, one either side of the face. HArmonyCa® is injected into the lower face in one 30 minute appointment. We then recommend a review around 3-4 weeks later. The results of this treatment should last for around 18-24 months before you will need treatment again. Some patients may need more syringes depending on the severity of their concern. How many you need will be discussed and recommended at point of consultation.
Our medical injectors will give you a comprehensive and personalised consultation. Your skin, facial anatomy, aspirations for treatment and suitability for HArmonyCa will be assessed and discussed, and then your bespoke treatment plan will be created for your needs.
Your wellbeing and results are our top priority, and we never advocate for treatments that aren’t the perfect match. By not giving you a thorough consultation, it can lead to unnecessary side effects and can impact your results and experience – the risk simply isn’t worth it. Therefore, we never administer injectables without first conducting a thorough consultation. This ensures that the treatment we recommend is precisely aligned with your requirements.

HArmonyCa® contains 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride, an anaesthetic, to reduce pain during treatment. But as with all treatments, pain tolerance can vary between patients.

HArmonyCa™ is injected under the skin in the deep dermal and sub-dermal layers in certain areas of the face, this includes the side of the face (not cheeks?) and around the jawline, but is not injected around the eyes, lips or mouth.
