Frequently asked questions
Can men have laser hair removal for excessive hair growth?
Yes. Men can have laser hair removal for unwanted hair, or excessive hair growth caused by a condition called hypertrichosis. This can affect males and females, but is very rare. Laser hair removal works equally well across the entire body and the face. From unwanted cheek hair, to an entire back, chest or stomach, laser hair removal gives long lasting and effective results.
Is laser hair removal right for me?
Treatment is safe on all skin types and colours, so it’s suitable for anyone looking for permanent, silky-smooth results, as long as the hair has enough pigment, i.e. it is dark enough to be treated as the laser is attracted to the pigment in the hair follicle. Your practitioner will discuss this in your consultation.
Is laser hair removal unsuitable for darker skin?
No. Laser hair treatment is fine for any skin type or colour, as long as your hairs are dark enough to attract the laser.
